Death Is The Only Ending For The Villain Chapter 1

Everything is perfect.
Even though the semi-underground room I was living in now was only the size of our toilet at first, everything was still perfect.
And I was about to work next, but that didn’t bother me at all.
I got to escape that hellish home like I wanted to, and get the freedom I’d always dreamed of. That alone was enough to make me happy.
But…
“I clearly told you that I want you to live quietly, I don’t even want to hear you breathe.”
A man said.
He looked at me with eyes full of hatred as if he had seen an extremely ugly worm.
“I heard that you were ugly at the banquet for the return of the crown prince.”
I was familiar with those cold, unfeeling eyes that seemed to be pushing me to my death.
Those eyes were the same as when I was in that home.
But no amount of familiarity could make me get used to it or stop it from affecting me.
“What the hell were you thinking in the first place?”
His aura is suffocating, and my lips begin to quiver with uncontrollable color.
Right at that moment.
The selection sheet reads line after line of options.

  1. did you know all about it?
    2.Didn’t think anything about it.
    3.That…is–(humble voice)
    ”…What’s this option list?”
The words that I had intended to say were stuck in my mouth. I can’t make a sound out of my throat for some reason.
This man’s voice made me very intimidated, causing me to freeze in place, unable to speak.
    “You better say something.”
The suffocating sensation was getting stronger, and I could even feel my skin tingling as a result. It wasn’t clear yet, but if I didn’t give a response, I might die…!
I unconsciously clicked on the option now.
    “That…is-(humble voice)”
My mouth uncontrollably started saying the lines from the option.
    ‘What…what is this?!!!’
My mouth was open, unable to believe what I had just spoken in the slightest.
Completely clueless about what had just happened.
I woke up in an unfamiliar place, and after that, I met these inexplicable people. And his words were just meant to kill me.
It was as if I had just woken up, my head unable to think.
    “That…is, then.”
The man seemed to be displeased with my incomplete answer as he put on a threatening face and ordered me to give a more complete answer.
A new option then appeared on the pick list.

  2. sorry, I’ll reflect on it.

  3. it was the idiotic maids that were at fault.

  4. it was those lowly people who ignored me as a duke’s daughter!
I don’t have time to take my time and think about what’s going on right now, I have to react quickly.
Although I said that I don’t understand what’s happening right now, the tragic passage just now made me understand.
    I have to say something.
I quickly picked out an option in accordance with the current atmosphere.
    “Right no…”
“If this was something that could be solved by apologizing, I wouldn’t need to see you like this.”
He directly interrupted what I was saying.
Because of his sharp words, my mood hit rock bottom.
I instinctively curled up my body. The man, in a voice that was both harsh and cold, said.
    “Penelope Eckhardt.”
    ‘Penelope Eckhardt?’
“We have decided to temporarily withdraw the surname of Eckhardt bestowed upon you.”
These lines and names seemed like déjà vu.
I looked up quickly, and in that moment I could suddenly see the face of the man in front of me.
He was somewhat distant from my bed, and he was not a vassal of our family. He was someone I had never seen before.
He had eyes as blue as the sea and hair as black as ore.
And above his head was a progress bar with shining white letters.
    ”Good…Sensibility ……?”
If I didn’t blink, the words displayed on his head were exactly ‘Good Sense’.
“From now on, I order you to be grounded for introspection. The banquet of course goes without saying, you can’t even step out of this room. Reflect on what you did wrong, and how you should act from now on.
“Where are you looking if not at my eyes?”
This otherwise expressionless man’s face sank into a frown when he realized my attention was elsewhere. But no matter what I couldn’t take my eyes off the favor progress bar on his head.
    [Favorability 0%]
    ”Impossible…”
I unconsciously shook my head, hoping that this was just a dream.
    It was simply impossible.
    Impossible.
“…It was said that you were mentally disturbed, so it seems to be true.”
The man glared at me before turning around and walking away quickly, as if he couldn’t stand to continue sharing a room with me for another second.
‘What the hell did I do wrong?’
Looking at his departing back, I then began to think about my current situation.
Suddenly, I felt the sight of someone, and that sight exuded a brittle and strange aura. The other party seemed to be mocking me.
I turned my head to check, and then I saw a man with pink hair. He stood in the shadow behind the door with his arms crossed over his chest.
He had the same eyes as the man who just left, but he had a smile on his face that mocked me.

The same white letters as the one just left shone above this man’s head.
    Negative.
“Crazy woman, brought this on herself.”
Unlike his handsome appearance, his diction was very inelegant. After speaking, he left with the man who had just left.
Clang one! The door that was flung shut made a loud noise.
Some time later, I was still sitting in the empty room, unable to comprehend what had just happened.

Just as I slowly gathered my thoughts, I was suddenly alerted to the fact that the two men I had just been with, and the room I was currently in…both seemed a bit familiar.
    “Liar…”
I can only speak according to my consciousness when I’m alone, but I don’t seem to have realized it yet as I’m still in a state of confusion.
I can’t believe what’s happening right now. This shouldn’t have happened in the normal course of events.
    “It can’t be…”
This couldn’t be a game I played before going to bed, could it? It’s simply like I’m living in that game and I’m playing the role in it.
“I must be dreaming right now.”
There was no possibility beyond that.
But no matter how much I pinched my face and pulled my hair, I still couldn’t wake up from my dream.
    “Ah…no, this…no, it’s not me. It isn’t! This isn’t me!”
The female protagonist in the hard mode of Evil Battles, the most popular B-girl game among girls lately.
    Penelope Eckhardt.
